What Jill's House Would Mean to Me

Carolyn Scott

Carolyn and Jessica ScottBeing a single working mother of a disabled child, the road is uncertain and can be heavy –thank God the rewards outweigh all of it. A place like Jill’s House gives people like me hope and peace of mind knowing that we have some place to turn so that we can again continue to tap into that extra special something God has given to parents like us.

Jessica’s vitality for life matches any two and half year old. Born September 19, 2005 to a healthy and “with it” 40 year old Mom our life has been almost like any family chasing after a toddler… peppered with lots of doctor appointments, therapies and some hospital time.

The most challenging aspect for us parents is finding those special individuals who see our kids as kids first. The hope of a capable individual to care for your child is just as special and just as unique as our kids themselves.
