Denny Harris is currently serving as Chairman of the Board and President of Jill's House, Inc. Denny was born and raised in Northern California, graduating in 1967 from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Political Science. It was at Berkeley near the end of his senior year that he gave his life to Christ through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ.

After graduation, he went on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ and was assigned to Seattle, Washington where he met Jane who has been his wife for more than 35 years.

After a year on staff with Campus Crusade, he and Jane were married and enrolled at Dallas Theological Seminary. Soon after arriving at Dallas, they learned that Jane was pregnant with their first child and felt it necessary to leave seminary.

Denny embarked on a career that covered more than thirty years of business management. He was an operating officer with several transportation entities including the Missouri Pacific Railroad and the USX Corporation. His experience also included management consulting and association management.

During this time, both Denny and Jane served as Teaching Directors of CBS Classes in Duluth, MN. Denny served as a member of the Board of Trustees of CBS for 12 years and also served on the Board of Eastern University and CBS International.

Thirty years after dropping out of seminary, Denny returned to full-time ministry as Director of Ministry Operations at McLean Bible Church in the Washington DC area, where he has served for the past five years.

Jane and Denny live in Northern Virginia and have two grown daughters – Lisa who lives with her family in Annapolis, MD and Amy who lives with her husband in Orlando, FL.
