The Client Care Specialist is a part-time position responsible for providing safe and nurturing care, including all activities of daily living, behavior management, and engagement of the clients we serve. As a member of the Jill’s House team, the Client Care Specialist helps advance the mission of Jill’s House centered on the vision, mission and values of Jill’s House.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Client Care Specialist will report directly to the Direct Care Staff Supervisor and is responsible for working with assigned clients according to their Individualized Service Plan (ISP).

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Encouraging the clients activities and participation while maintaining safety and promoting a positive experience for all attendees.
  • Maintaining clear reports on client’s ISP and engaging in activities while providing smooth transitions between activities and times of personal care and staff shift schedule changes.
  • Attending Jill’s House trainings as required and keeping certified in CPR, First Aid and others as determined by the Direct Care Staff Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum years of relevant experience:   At least six months experience working with children.
Education:  High School diploma or GED
Has a lifestyle of walking with Christ that can serve as an example to all who comes into contact with Jill’s House.
Has demonstrated alignment with the foundation, vision, mission and values of Jill’s House.
