Ways To Give Toward Your Legacy
Bequests
One of the simplest and easiest ways to include Jill’s House in your legacy is through a bequest in your will or trust. Whether you designate a specific amount or percentage, your legacy will ensure that rest, renewal, and relationships are a reality for families raising children with intellectual disabilities.
Non-Cash Assets
Gifting non-cash assets like real estate, collections, art, or other personal property can be a meaningful and creative way to make a gift toward the mission of Jill’s House.
IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions
If you are 70 1/2 or older, you can gift up to $100,000 per year directly from your IRA. This will help you meet your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) beginning at age 73, making a tax-smart gift to Jill’s House while decreasing your taxable income.
Beneficiary Designations
When you name Jill’s House as the beneficiary of a retirement account, insurance policy, bank/brokerage account, you help ensure families have a reliable source of respite.
