Jill’s House Weekend programs run from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. Jill’s House kids enjoy special activities and fun with friends while their parents get the weekend off to rest, spend time with other children, or reconnect with family and friends.
One night stays are offered Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. Jill’s House transports children from selected partner schools to our facility, where they relax with friends, enjoy fun activities, have dinner, get a good night’s sleep, and are returned to school the next morning.
Children with intellectual disabilities are like most kids. They enjoy playing games, having cookouts, and going on hikes with friends. But it can often be difficult for families to find these activities with the interests and abilities of their children in mind, which is why Jill’s House created an unforgettable two-night camping experience tailored specifically for these amazing children and the volunteers who celebrate them.
Jill’s House kids enjoy a range of activities at our Day Camps, from music and pet therapy to arts and crafts, to pool time, scavenger hunts around the building, visits from arts organizations that perform plays and concerts, to story time with costumed characters, and much more. Day camps are offered during Christmas and Spring Breaks as well as during summer vacation from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM for children who are currently accepted into our Weekend or School Night Program.
