Ensuring a safe and fun environment for every camper

Eligibility Conditions

To truly enjoy a weekend respite, parents need to know that their child is safe at camp. To that end, our admissions process individually evaluates potential campers to determine eligibility. Please note that Jill’s House Weekend Adventures cannot adequately accommodate campers with the following medical and behavioral conditions:

Medical

Medical conditions we cannot safely accommodate:

Medical conditions requiring case-by-case evaluation:

Seizures
Diabetes controlled with PO medications only
Enteral tubes (G-tube, J-tube, etc.)
Wheelchair dependency

Behavioral

Inability to remain in bed overnight
Verbal or physical aggression toward adults or children
Sexualized behaviors, including language, touch, or exposure
Property destruction
Threats or attempts to harm self or others
Requires restraints or holds to mitigate behaviors

Admissions Process Details

To properly care for your child, we need a lot of information. However, we are committed to making the application process simple and supportive for your family. Our admissions team will guide you through each step to determine your child’s eligibility.

Inquiry Form

Step 1
Begin by completing our brief Inquiry Form to tell us a little bit about your child.
Step 2
Your Local Program Manager will schedule a brief insight call to learn more about your child, share some details about Jill’s House, and determine whether Jill’s House is a good fit.
Step 3
After our call we will send admissions forms to complete. These help us create a plan to care for your child while they are in our care.

Step 4
Next, we schedule an in-person orientation to get to know each other, review required documentation and answer any final questions.

Once the admissions process is complete, your Local Program Manager will assist you in scheduling you child’s first Weekend Adventure!
