Fun in the Windy City

Jill’s House has partnered with Covenant Harbor in Lake Geneva, WI, to bring the Weekend Adventures program to families in the Chicagoland area. The camp runs multiple weekends throughout the year, even during the winter! It is available to individuals ages 6-17 who have been diagnosed with intellectual disabilities.

Boundless Fun

Campers at our Windy City location will enjoy a variety of activities, including low ropes course, archery, giant swing, swimming, boating, and s’mores. Camp staff includes the Local Program Manager, a licensed nurse, two daytime Direct Care staff, an overnight Direct Care Staff, and volunteer buddies.

Weekend Snapshot

Each Windy City Weekend Adventure runs Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. As long as a camper can be safely served, all families, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or any other characteristic, will be unconditionally welcomed, served, and loved. We typically have ten campers per camp ensuring each camper is well supervised and has a great time, each time they visit.
