Fun in the Garden State

Jill’s House has partnered with Shiloh Bible Camp in Hewitt, NJ, to bring the Weekend Adventures program to families in the northern New Jersey area. The camp runs multiple weekends throughout the year, even during the winter! It is available to individuals ages 6-17 who have been diagnosed with intellectual disabilities.

Boundless Fun

Campers at Garden State will enjoy a variety of activities, including archery, hiking, ziplining, swimming, rock climbing, camp songs, and s’mores. Camp staff includes the Local Program Manager, a licensed nurse, two daytime Direct Care staff, an overnight Direct Care Staff, and volunteer buddies.

Weekend Snapshot

Each Garden State Weekend Adventure runs Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. As long as a camper can be safely served, all families, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or any other characteristic, will be unconditionally welcomed, served, and loved. We typically have ten campers per camp ensuring each camper is well supervised and has a great time, each time they visit.
